An hour overhaul of the brake and gears, to realign the pads and index the gearing.

• Tyres pumped to the correct psi.

• Lubrication of the chain and some mechanical parts. 

• Bottom bracket and headset torqued to the correct setting.

• Minor adjustments to the saddle,  handlebar, brake levers and gear shifters.

• It includes 2 small part fits e.g. front and rear brake pads

• Advice given to maintain the lifespan of the bike.

 

This service usually applies to a small kids bike, a new build (<£500) and bikes in good condition (to be assessed by the mechanic)

The most popular service because not only do you get the bike serviced to a high standard but at the start of the service the bike is also given a thorough wash.

As well as the adjustments included in the Basic Service, the labour covers:

• A thorough wash;

• Fitting of new external cables;

• A total of 4 small part fits or equivalent (see T&C's) e.g. 2 tyres and a chain;

• The headset is tightened to the correct torque and bearings are checked for wear;

• The bike wheels are checked for wear and are given a wheel true.

 

​This service also includes the labour mentioned in the Basic and  Clean service and in addition:

​

• The wheels and fork will be removed from the frame and cleaned

• A complete drivechain clean and lubrication

• Hydraulic brake bleeds

• Internally routed cable fits

• Bike adjustments for rider

• Light rust removal

• Minor touch ups to the frame;

• Spokes replaced (max 3 per 28-36 spoke wheel)

• All part and bearing fits
